Whenever I took a road trip, my favorite thing to do would be to find a small town with music and gatherings in a park or on a green. It had a vibe. One that just made me feel like I was in the heart of the American dream. Not a care in the world, even if it was for that one night. Because that night, we were vibing and taking it all in.

Little did I know, those small towns I cherished on road trips in my random discoveries would one day be my hometown. There are so many reasons to love Keller, and for me, this is one of them. Those nostalgic summer nights. It feels so Americana. When you pause and look around, there is much to be grateful for; it is easy to forget.

The Keller Parks and Recreation do an incredible job putting together a weekly event on Thursdays in June called, The Keller Summer Nights Concert & Movie Series.

Each Thursday in June, music kicks off on the lawn at the town square at 7:30 pm, then takes you into the night with a movie under the stars behind the town hall. There are food trucks, treats, and games. The sounds of music playing, children laughing, and food in the air are the trifecta that says,… Summer is here!
