Old Town Keller Foundation

Who We Are

We are an umbrella foundation for our Keller history museums right in the heart of Old Town Keller.
The museums are open Thursday-Friday-Saturday from 11-3. Admission is free. otkf.org

The Wild Rose Heritage Center

The Wild Rose Heritage Center, at 133 E Bates Street, has been at the heart of the museum operations since opening in 2014. There are excellent displays of Keller’s history, along with many artifacts. The museum is housed in the Jarvies House, built in 1926. In addition to hosting events, demonstrations, lectures, and music camps, the museum is available to rent for small groups.

Texas Harvest Pie Company

Texas Harvest Pie Company now operates out of the Wild Rose’s commercial kitchen. Call Lea Ann at 817-798-9474 to order your delicious pies, cookies, quiches, and more.

Catherine Anne’s Bookstore

The yellow house is Catherine Anne’s Books and Research Center (128 E Bates Street). Catherine Anne’s is a cozy book store featuring a large selection of books, old and new. Housed in the book store is a large collection of photos and documents from early Keller, including genealogies and Keller family stories. All proceeds from book sales and from research services benefit the Foundation.

The Station House Train Museum/Old Fashioned Textile Room/ Old Time School Room

The Station House Train Museum/Old Fashioned Textile Room/ Old Time School Room are housed at 136 E Bates Street. The Station House celebrates Keller’s railroad history. It houses an impressive display of train artifacts and an amazing model railroad display.

The Old Fashioned Textile Room has a display of all kinds of textiles. There is a World War II-era floor loom and a Civil War-era sewing machine. Step back in time to the Old Time School Room, with a chalkboard from one of Keller’s early schools.

Membership

Our museums are funded with memberships and donations. We sponsor several events every year.
We will share this information as it becomes available. Our museum spaces are also available to rent out for small events (up to 25 people and reasonably priced). We’ve hosted baby showers, book clubs, and sorority meetings to name a few.
